Our Story
The name is Bland, but the work is Grand!
Jay Bland founded the business over 20Â years ago after returning home from the Navy. After years of happy clients, Jay now shares ownership of the company with his son Jeff.
Jay and Jeff proudly serve Cobb and Cherokee county in helping their clients' dream homes become a reality.

Meet the Crew
Jay started the company as a part-time business in 1996, pressure washing when he discovered his love for making other people's homes beautiful. Jay is a jack of all trades and his favorite thing to do on a job is tile work. In his free time, Jay enjoys working on his Jeep, hunting, and antiquing. He is also an avid fisherman and bird watcher.

Jeff began working with his father as a teenager. Since then, he has helped Jay run the business and help JB's General Contracting grow to what it is today. Jeff's favorite projects to work on are bathrooms, but he, like his father, is a jack of all trades. In his free time, he enjoys being out in nature, renovating his own home, disc golf, and spending time with his family.

Jenna started working with the company in 2021. She works behind the scenes making sure the jobs run as smoothly as possible! She manages the office, assists clients in designing and purchasing materials, and occasionally helps out on-site as needed. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, playing softball, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Will began working with JB's in the winter of 2022. He specializes in tile installation, but is proficient in Electrical as well. Will enjoys spending time with his friends, family, and girlfriend, and on the weekends, you can find him LARPing.
William "Will" Beeler
Mick began working with the company in the summer of 2023. He is the energetic one of the group and is always excited to learn something new. Mick specializes in Carpentry during work hours and enjoys playing DND, reading, and testing his brain with logic puzzles in his free time.
Macormick "Mick" Tilley
Nick began working with the company in the Winter of 2025. He is eager to learn as much as he can from his crew and discover where his passion lies within Residential Remodeling. In Nick's free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son, as well as playing adult league Soccer.
